A practical guide for Line Managers
Working in collaboration with sustainable writing consultancy, Ideal Worldsmiths, Matt designed an interactive Line Manager Guide for Marks and Spencer, whose HR Communications team connect with 80,000 employees in the UK and overseas.

The Royal British Legion asked Matt to design advertising to promote their Freedom Trail and Poppy Walk fundraising events.

Brittany to Bordeaux pack
The Alzheimer's Society commissioned a fundraising pack, for this bespoke invitation-only fundraising event, happening in September 2016.

Advertising and publicity
Following the success of Innovations in Ceramic Art 2015, onlineceramics.com have commissioned Matt to design the publicity materials for the 2016 event, to be held in Cambridge in November.

Global Witness
Lowering the bar
Global Witness asked Matt to design a report revealing how suspect money can enter the United States. The findings have been covered by U.S. news programme 60 Minutes, the New York Times and the Guardian. Find out more on the Global Witness website.

Shelter
Schools Christmas fundraising pack
In 2005, housing and homelessness charity, Shelter, required a pack of materials to send to schools, encouraging them to fundraise for the charity and containing ideas and resources to help them do it. The pack was mailed out to primary and secondary schools throughout the UK. The campaign was very successful and raised more money than in previous years.

No place for hate
The Camden Safer Neighborhood Board held a public meeting in November 2015 to discuss hate crime in the borough. Matt designed a simple double-sided invitation to publicise the event.

Matt designed many events fundraising packs and advertising for the charity Scope, including Colorado Calling, Kenya Great Rift Valley Trek, Cycle Cambodia, The Great Wall of China Trek, Namibia Desert Trek, Mt Aconcagua Exhibition and Ladakh Trek.

Trafalgar 200 celebrations
Matt designed promotional/display materials and web page designs for Trafalgar 200, a series of events celebrating the bicentenary of the Battle of Trafalgar.

Money conference materials
Citizens Advice commissioned Matt to design brochures, banners and a Powerpoint template for their 2015 Money Conferences held in Bristol, Leeds and London.

Out of Scope report
Citizens Advice asked Matt to design a report showing who will be losing out from legal aid reform in 2013.

Canadian Tourism Commission
Canada Day London
The Canadian Tourism Commission required an event identity for Canada Day London, held in Trafalgar Square in the summers of 2007/8. Canada Day provided Londoners and visitors to London the opportunity to step into Canada for the day, with live music in the evening. The bi-lingual event identity dressed the square and was used on stage branding, signage, backdrops, leaflets and t-shirts.

Alzheimer's Society
Worried about your memory?
In 2007, the Alzheimer’s Society commissioned materials for a public information campaign to be piloted in doctors surgeries in the South of England. The results were phenomenal. They received in excess of 9,000 written requests for information and calls to their helpline rose by 15%. Based on the pilot’s success, the Alzheimer’s Society received further funding from the Department of Health and Pharmaceutical companies to roll out the campaign across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Power Pack
In 2005, the NSPCC required an accessible pack to help children with a learning disability deal with a family court case. The pack featured illustrations by Phil Garner.

Flyer
The Camden Community and Police Consultative Group (CCPCG) asked Matt to design a flyer to recruit young people on to an independent advisory panel, to foster better relationships between the police and young people.

SureStart Darlaston
Say yes to screening...
A series of illustrated postcards used as part of a local awareness raising initiative. They promote breast, cervical, testicular and prostate cancer screening in an area where health screening take-up is very low.


Seafarers UK
Impact review
Seafarers UK, the nation's leading maritime charity, asked Matt to design their 2012 impact review. View the full report on the Seafarers UK website.

Global Witness
Report
Matt designed Global Witness's 'City of Gold' report. The issue of major audit failures at Dubai's biggest gold refinery was widely reported in the UK and international media.

Alzheimer's Society
Skydive pack
The Alzheimer's Society commissioned a digital welcome pack, with built-in navigation for fundraisers who have chosen to take part in a parachute jump.

Global Witness
Coming Clean
Global Witness commissioned a 36 page report highlighting the efforts by companies and Congolese officials to lay the foundations of a conflict-free minerals trade in the shadow of entrenched military control and impunity. The report was published in French and English.



Citizens Advice
Equality and Diversity Strategy, 2012-2015
Citizens Advice commissioned a 20 page strategy, published in English and Welsh. The design uses campaigning badges to give emphasis to the advocacy theme underpinning the strategy. Each badge was designed, then photographed before being placed in the report.



Target Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, fundraising pack
Target Ovarian Cancer asked me to design a fundraising pack, using the 50s Challenge theme, for their 2012 awareness month. The pack includes a 12 page booklet, accompanying letter and empty belly posters.

Money Advice Service materials
Citizens Advice have teamed-up with the Money Advice Service to deliver money advice sessions across Wales. They commissioned bi-lingual leaflets, posters, banners, dispensers, stationery and flash cards

I CAN
Million Lost Voices appeal
Children's communication charity I CAN commissioned an appeal brochure, aiming to raise £2 million to run four programmes that will transform the lives of children who have difficulty communicating. Read more on the I CAN website.

London to Paris Cycle Challenge
The Alzheimer's Society commissioned a digital welcome pack, with built-in navigation for fundraisers who have signed up to the London to Paris Cycle Challenge.

Mental Capacity Act resource pack
Mencap asked Matt to design and build a 50-page interactive pdf which includes video, a built-in navigation system and an easy to use glossary of terms.

A 20-page magazine outlining the different money advice services provided by Citizens Advice.

Dementia UK
Visual identity
When the charity 'for dementia' changed its name to Dementia UK they required a new visual identity that looked to the future, but didn't alienate the charities existing supporters.
