I have been a freelance graphic designer for more than 20 years. Before that, I was senior designer with the charity Mencap.
My clients are mainly not-for-profit and public sector organisations. They include the Alzheimer’s Society, the Canadian Tourism Commission, Citizens Advice, Global Witness, Marks and Spencer, the Prostate Cancer Charity, the Royal British Legion, Shelter and Scope.
I believe that good design is more than icing on the cake, that it can aid understanding and communication, change attitudes, strengthen brand recognition and help to sell services, products and ideas. I enjoy working with value-led organisations who create positive social and environmental change.
My main areas of work are:
- Visual and event identities
- Print design – magazines, reports, posters leaflets and flyers
- Art direction
- Accessible design
- Digital brochures/Interactive pdfs
- Digital banner adverts
